Hopkinton Car Club is a 500-member enthusiast community based in New England with zero digital infrastructure. Events were organized via group text. Membership was tracked in a spreadsheet. Their brand was a blurry logo saved as a JPEG. We gave them a digital home that matched their passion.
The challenge
HCC had incredible community energy and terrible tooling. Members were dropping out because they couldn't find event info. Prospective members couldn't find the club at all. The president was spending 10+ hours a week manually sending event reminders and managing the membership list.
Our approach
We started with a full brand build — a proper marque, color system, and type hierarchy that felt authentic to car culture without being cliché. Then we designed and built a custom site with an integrated events calendar, membership directory, and sponsor showcase. Email automation replaced the manual reminders. Three months of member experience research shaped every UX decision.

We went from group texts to a real organization. Members tell me the site makes them proud to be part of HCC. I can't put a number on that.
